CareCulture is pleased to present an opportunity for a full-time, board-certified or board eligible physician skilled in both emergency and inpatient care to join our hybrid ED and hospitalist program at Helen Newberry Joy Hospital in Newberry, MI.  

Position Details

Ideal applicants will:

  • Have emergency medicine and internal medicine training

  • Be board certified in internal medicine or emergency medicine

  • Have family internal medicine experience

  • Be licensed in the state of MI (DEA and CSP included)

  • Have a clean malpractice history

  • Be available to fulfill 5-6 24 hours shifts per month (minimum 120 hours per month)

About Newberry Joy Hospital and Healthcare Center

Helen Newberry Joy Hospital and Healthcare Center provides patient-centric care to the Eastern Upper Peninsula of Michigan. As one of the most technologically advanced diagnostic centers in the region, Helen Newberry Joy Hospital is a 25-bed, critical access hospital that sees about 4,500 annual ED visits and 2,000 annual inpatient encounters per year.

Benefits/Perks

Position Highlights/Details

·       Full time need (24-hour shifts, 5-6 per month)

·       Float between inpatient rounding and ED service as volume allows
